A Constable is an officer of the County Justice Precincts. They are elected by the people and serve on a four-year term within their own precincts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
THE PRIMARY DUTIES OF THE PINAL COUNTY CONSTABLES ARE:
- Returning writs of possession or restitution
- Serving orders of protection or orders of harassment
- Serving civil and criminal summons and subpoenas

- Levying and returning writs of execution
- Storing personal property that has been levied

Scott is a native of Pinal County having grown up in the Casa Grande area where he attended school and worked on the family farm. After graduating from Casa Grande Union High School, Scott attended Central Arizona College where he studied in Criminal Justice.
In July of 1991, Scott began his law enforcement career with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. Over his 25-year career with the sheriff's office, he served in numerous roles and assignments within the agency. Scott was also promoted through the ranks, retiring as a lieutenant.
Scott served as the commander over the Patrol Support Division, City of Maricopa Contract Services, several patrol regions, SWAT, the Search and Rescue Unit, and the Aviation Unit. In 2011 Scott lead the creation of the aviation unit and served as the chief pilot until his retirement in 2016.
Scott is a member of the Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge Number 1957. Scott is married to his wife, Barbara, and has a daughter, Tylr.

David Irvin was born and raised in Pennsylvania and attended the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on criminal justice studies. Shortly thereafter, he joined the U.S. Air Force and proudly served in Operation Desert Shield in 1991. Separating from the military, David relocated to Arizona and continued his career in law enforcement and judicial studies by working for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the Mesa Police, and CoreCivic, a local privatized prison. In the early 2000s, Constable Irvin founded Sole Amicus, LLC., a private process-serving company that he managed for over 13 years. David is married to his long-time sweetheart Tammy, who shares six children and two grandchildren. He was elected to the Office of Constable in 2010.

For more than 30 years, Ted Gremmel has had the privilege of being a public servant. In 1987, Ted began his government service when joining the United States Navy. As a proud Veteran protecting our Country, he participated in many military operations, including Operation Team Spirt, Operation Cobra Gold, and Operation Desert Shield. After his military service, Ted returned to Arizona in 1992 and began working for Maricopa County Government while attending college.
In 1994, Ted began his career working for Pinal County Adult Probation Department. As a Surveillance Officer, he continued his public service by supervising convicted felons on Intensive Probation. While his primary duty was to protect the community by ensuring those he supervised were complying with their terms and conditions of probation, he also had the privilege of serving as the Lead Firearm Instructor for the Adult Probation Department. In 2006, Ted received the Firearms Instructor of the Year Award from the Arizona Supreme Court. After retiring from the Probation Department in 2013, he managed the Diversion Program for the Pinal County Attorney's Office and later served as the Impound Hearing Officer for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
Today, Constable Gremmel lives in Apache Junction with his wife, Kelly, and daughter Alexandria. As your elected Constable for Justice Precinct 6, Ted is committed to serving and protecting our community with integrity, respect, and professionalism.
