Children with Special Health Care Needs

The Arizona Department of Health Services uses the Maternal and Child Health Bureau's definition of Children with Special Health Care Needs as: "Children up to age 21, who have or are at risk for a chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, emotional or potentially disabling condition and who also require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that required by children generally."
